International Gymkhana GP competition regulation


1. General rules
a. All sportsmen are allowed to participate without age restrictions
b. All types of motorcycles and scooters are allowed
c. Tyre warmers are allowed

2. Stage courses
a. Course of the stage is being choosing by voting on the website gymkhana-cup.com . Only registered members can vote. During the voting, member can choose only one course. Changing of the selected course after the voting - is not possible.
b. Course is choosing among courses that were sent by participants. Courses that wasn’t chosen for the stage can be present in votings for next stages.
c. Courses that were used for competitions or trainings cannot be used for voting.
d. Anyone can draw his own course and send it for voting. You can send it through feedback form on the gymkhana-cup.com or in vk.com to Pavel Lyadetsky
e. Course requirements:    
- Max width: less than 20m, including start/finish gates;
- Max length: less than 40 meters, including start/finish gates.
- Element “Mirror” is not allowed.
3. Confirmation of the results
a. For result confirmation, it is necessary to send a video that meets following requirements:

• Start and finish of the ride are clearly visible. In the beginning of the video, rider should be in the start zone, with foot on the ground, without crossing start line. Start and finish of the ride should be recorded on the video. Rider shouldn’t touch cones during start or finish.
• Whole course, start/finish gates, and rider should be clearly visible during ride.
• Time of the ride should be also shot on the camera. This time should be caught with electronic telemetry. You can also manually put timer in your video in the following format 00:00:00 – minutes : seconds : split seconds (using Adobe Premiere Pro for example). Time results, that caught on mobile phone or manual chronograph will not be confirmed.
• Video should be named in the following way: Gymkhana GP 2019 stage1 (or other number of the stage) / Surname Motorcycle / heat 1 (or other number of the heat)
For example: Gymkhana GP 2019 stage1 / Haruhiko Tsujiie SUZUKI GSX R1000 / heat1
• Amount of heats is unlimited. You can record and send any heat, which improves your time.


b. Video should be placed on one of the following sites:
i. YouTube
ii. Yandex disk
iii. Google disk

c. Requirements for video quality:
i. Video should have resolution that not less than 480p
ii. Video should be clear, with good view of the rider, his motorbike, cones and his path.
iii. Video should be recorded in the daytime, or with good lightning.
iv. Judges can deny result, if they cannot clearly check ride for mistakes.


4. Rules
a. Course should be made of sport or road cones.

b. Cone height:
For riders of C3 class and higher – 450mm and higher
For riders of N…D1 – 300mm and higher


c. In case you take part in competitions on the gymkhana-cup site for the first time and do not have a class, a class may be assigned to you by the site administration based on your performances in other competitions, or you will be assigned a class N.
d. If you are in class C3 and above with cones below 450mm - a penalty of +1 second to the time.
e. Results are accepting with rounding up to hundredths of seconds. If your timer records time up to thousandths – result will be rounded up according to mathematic rules.
f. Penalties:
• 1 second
Hit or knock down cone
Take foot out of the peg and touch the ground
• 3 seconds
Put foot on the ground and turn around (excepts FOOT OK zone)
Walking with foot on the ground
Start or finish ride with motorbike outside of start/finish gate.

g. Penalties explanations:
• Touching the ground during ride with any part of the bike will not cause any penalty.
• If rider falls inside of start/finish gates, but motorcycle is inside of the start/finish zone and it stopped – no penalty will be applied.
• Motorbike outside of start/finish gate – it is a situation, when any part of the motorbike touches the ground outside of start/finish zone. Start and finish should be performed in the way, when contact patches of the both motorbike wheels are inside of the start/finish zone.
• If some parts of the bike, that are not touching the ground, are outside of start/finish zone - no penalty will be applied.
• Rider can also be outside of the start/finish zone (for example, when falls from the bike during finishing). In this case - no penalty will be applied.
